By: Team LibertyTime travel into the Liberty archive with a new season of prints and patterns - inspired by nostalgic designs, reworked for today. Whether you want to add a splash of Liberty to your wardrobe, find gift inspiration, or brighten up the winter months, here are some of the pieces to look out for this season.
Cosy Accessories
Florals weren’t only made for spring. Stay warm this winter in a Liberty scarf, made in a wool silk blend, cashmere silk blend and pure cashmere. New this season are pale pink and blue iterations of the Adelphi Voyage print, the same design that inspired the Liberty LBTY. Adelphi Sun fragrance. If you really want to wrap up warm, a wool cape in the Hera, Tree of Life, Fragile Blooms or Artist's Bouquet print will do the trick.
Silk Scarves
Nothing looks more elegant than a silk scarf knotted casually around the handle of a supple leather handbag, adding a playful splash of colour and texture for contrast. Or you can style a silk scarf in your hair, either tied around a ponytail or fastened beneath the chin.
Choose from square scarves or skinny ones, and keep an eye out for the Cunningham print with its graphic, screen-printed peony blooms. The 'Hope' and 'Liberty' monogrammed checkerboard prints are part of our ongoing collaboration with Pentagram, the design studio behind Liberty’s Lasenby font.

The best plan for the festive season is to invest in a few elegant and easygoing pieces that work for multiple different occasions. The Gala dress is a universally flattering shape, ideal for a Christmas party or celebratory event. Go for sleek silver in the Hera print, or try a bold floral with the Cunningham or Artist’s Bouquet prints. For daywear, the Gallery shirt dress works for all seasons. In winter, contrast the floral print with a pair of tall riding boots and an oversized leather jacket, or play with proportions with a long woollen coat.
