By: Team LibertyFor a myriad of reasons, LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza has found its perfect second home at Liberty this summer, but we will whittle it down to just five and you can make your own call on the rest once you visit. The exclusive pop up featuring the Paula’s Ibiza 2022 collection in its entirety will launch in store on Wednesday 27th April, here is why you can’t miss it.
From 1972 until 2000, Paula’s boutique was a cult shopping destination in Ibiza’s Old Town. Combining laid-back glamour with bohemian style and famed for its trademark floral prints, the shop was a party island favourite and counted Donna Summer, Freddie Mercury and Jean-Paul Gaultier amongst its clientele. We have recreated the Ibiza town vibe within our Tudor hall so when you visit Liberty, you can basically travel to two places at once.
This year, as the ultimate summer shopping destination, Liberty is bringing the party to you, creating laid-back, sun-drenched vibes in store that go beyond the incredible collection with Ibizan vistas, live DJ sessions, Loewe nail art and bespoke cocktails. It will take you to the white sands of Ibiza, with no passport required.
LOEWE’s latest Paula’s Ibiza collection embodies the best of the island escape - sexy, fun, carefree and liberated, from minimalist black and white to a riot of sequins and colour. Playful and easy to wear, you’ll be feeling the holiday vibes regardless of where in the world you find yourself, (not least on the ground floor at Liberty).
Staples of Paula’s Ibiza such as the dress, t-shirt, shorts and loose knitted pullover feature feisty prints, cactus motifs, playful geometrics and beachy graphics from veteran surfing photographer, LeRoy Grannis. Not to mention the collection’s hero pieces that will be difficult to leave behind.
The collection continues with accessories. There are sequined platform mules, sandals, sneakers and espadrilles, the most must-have basket, tote and buckets bags. Not forgetting the collectable leather goods with cocktail motifs, sunglasses, hats, charms, and jewellery.
