Liberty LBTY. Fragrance launched in 2023 with a series of five scents – each inspired by iconic prints in the archive. Now, for the first time since launch, LBTY. is expanding its collection, with a new, floral oud capsule collection.
Deep, irreverent and woody, Liberty LBTY. Fragrance Ianthe Oud, £225 for 100ml, is one half of this new, enchanting duo, alongside the equally captivating Hera Reigns.
The Rise to Fame
Meticulously crafted by world-renowned perfumers, each fragrance in the Liberty LBTY. Fragrance is precisely blended to reflect the print that inspired it.
For Ianthe Oud, the instantly recognisable Ianthe print formed the basis for perfumer Nicholas Bonneville, who designed the oud based fragrance to mirror the mood and motifs of the original botanical print.
The Credentials
The winding woods and scattered florals of the iconic Ianthe print are captured in a palette of mysterious oud woods, with murmuring English violets and honeyed mimosa.
Ianthe Oud’s dancing floral top notes are grounded by myrrh, guaiac wood, patchouli and leather for a deeply irreverent finish.
The Star Quality
When crafting Ianthe Oud, perfumer Nicholas Bonneville sought to craft a scent that was “inherently English”, while still drawing inspirations from other parts of the world. What could be more Liberty than that?
