Liberty Fabrics & Bridgerton: A New Chapter

Blenheim Garden

Inspired by a Liberty furnishing print from the 1980s, Blenheim Garden was meticulously hand-painted in the Liberty studio, capturing the refined elegance of period-inspired gardens. Evoking the grandeur of stately homes and their fragrant terrace gardens, the design presents sumptuous bouquets of roses, marguerites, and poppies in full bloom. A delicate leafy trellis threads through the composition, subtly intertwining geometry with Regency-style floral motifs, to create a sense of cultivated charm.

Sophie Rose

Steeped in floral nostalgia, Sophie Rose exudes the gentle romance of a windswept garden at dawn. As trailing rose garlands cascade across the design, their airy composition and nuanced tonal shifts suggest layered depth and tranquil movement. Originally created for Liberty in 1978, the pattern was reimagined in the studio using soft, painterly brushstrokes, echoing the fleeting grace of nature in a moment of ethereal beauty.

Regency Trail

Regency Trail honours Liberty’s illustrious legacy of Tree of Life-style designs, drawing inspiration from a hand-painted artwork dating back to 1969. Meticulously reimagined, the design is characterised by trailing branches adorned with majestic peonies, chrysanthemums, carnations, blossom, and fuchsia, nestled among lush foliage. An interplay of tonal shades adds contrast, depth, and definition, enveloping the pattern in an aura of mystery and refinement.

Bouquet Parade

A profusion of roses, anemones, tulips, delphinium, lilies, and camellias merge in a fabulous floral frenzy. Immersed in a vivid burst of colour and form, Bouquet Parade takes cues from timeless archival Liberty artworks, culminating in a novel composition of exuberant blooms. Turning the spotlight on carefully curated arrangements, this dynamic print sets the tone for formal soirées or delightful garden parties. For this new chapter, discover an additional, elegant take on this favourite fabtric, accented with a scattering of metallic silver spots and stripes, the fabric shimmers with subtle brilliance, lending a light-catching finish to this striking print.

Bow Bouquet

Assembled from an array of botanical prints unearthed in the Liberty archive, Bow Bouquet celebrates the kaleidoscope of colours and the splendour of nature’s beauty, boasting a symphony of opulent blooms. Echoing the grandeur of the Regency era, this theatrical pattern features roses, peonies, asters, lilacs, and larkspur, forming breath-taking bouquets delicately bound together with silk satin bows. Set against richly hued backdrops, these flowers take centre stage, their jewel hues accentuated and intensified, to add depth and visual contrast. Now also reimagined with a dusting of silver polka dots and stripes, the design sparkles with enchanting radiance.

Bouquet Carnival

Appearing for the first time on Liberty's signature Tana Lawn cotton, discover a fabric bursting with roses, anemones, tulips, delphinium, lilies, and camellias in a decadent floral display. Bouquet Carnival takes cues from timeless archival Liberty artworks, culminating in a novel composition of exuberant blooms. Turning the spotlight on carefully curated arrangements, this dynamic, richly hued print sets the tone for formal soirées or delightful garden parties.
