The Synopsis
Take a deep breath and discover Liberty LBTY. Fragrance. A natural addition to the Liberty eco-system, these exhilarating scents are bringing our iconic archival prints to life in collaboration with some of the world’s finest perfumers.
With five scents to explore, we’re turning our noses to the freshest fragrance of the bunch: Liberty Maze, £225 for 100ml. Inspired by the Orchard print, this elegant perfume is crisp and tranquil, with a refreshing citrus zing – like a stroll through a wild spring orchard.
The Rise To Fame
The task for our master perfumers? Translate print to perfume. Bottle a mood, moment and memory to craft a blissfully unexpected collection. They truly delivered with a suite of luxurious perfumes that are sophisticated, creative and oh-so distinctly Liberty.
The Credentials
Gabriela Chelariu, the perfumer behind Maze, describes the fragrance as: “inspired by English traditions [and] the imperfect beauty of English gardens”. Think perfumed cups of Earl Grey tea, sipped in a blooming spring orchard. Fresh and crisp, with notes of florals and citrus, but with a hint of wildness: primrose, hawthorn and woods for, as Chelariu describes it, “a bit of an edge”. Consider us captivated.
