The Rise to Fame
Like all the best beauty inventions, Dizziak was born out of necessity. Frustrated by the lack of conditioners that actually worked to restore gloss and health to all hair types, Nigerian-Italian writer (she cut her beauty teeth at Stylist) Loretta De Feo set about creating her own. The Dizziak Deep Conditioner was her ‘goldilocks’ moment: a formula that's not too heavy, not too light but instead, just right; and its been on the receiving end of countless positive reviews and industry awards ever since.
And, it’s ‘just right’ for global pop phenomenon Dua Lipa too, who this week confirmed that she’s betting big on Dizziak by becoming an investor in the brand. With literally every brand at her fingertips, what was it about Dizziak that made Dua put her money where her mouth is? It’s genuinely inclusive, there’s no marketing spin here. Dua revealed that as soon as she met De Feo she “was drawn to her ethos of making healthy haircare products accessible to people of all hair types.”
The Credentials
De Feo’s aim was to bring brilliant conditioning products to the UK market so that her friends with afro and textured hair could do their hair shopping on the high street, like everybody else. The Star Quality
We’re inclined to agree with Dua Lipa when she says “London girls do it best! Dizziak is in a category all of their own.” And she’s right.
