We’ve invited the most extraordinary names in beauty to collaborate on special edition items in honour of this monumental anniversary – with a new launch dropping every month for the rest of 2025. THE COLLECTOR’S EDIT
The latest addition to our line-up, avant-garde Parisian perfumery Ex Nihilo debuts its hypnotic new Extrait de Parfum: Blue Talisman. Only available in The Fragrance Lounge.
With it’s “extrait” status adding an alluring intensity, power and depth to the iconic Blue Talisman scent, this new launch illuminates the heady heights of Ex Nihilo’s haute perfumery. With a scent profile designed to evoke a journey through the centre on an exquisite jewel, and a roster of olfactive notes as opulent as it is experimental – it perfectly captures Ex Nihilo’s avant-garde attitude, making it the perfect addition to Liberty’s Collector’s Edit.
"Just as Liberty offers an art and design-driven curation, Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum offers a mesmerising Haute Parfumerie journey,” says Benoît Verdier, Ex Nihilo co-founder. “Through multiple olfactory facets (citrusy, fruity, floral, woody, ambery), it unfolds a kaleidoscope of sensations."
Crafted by perfumer Jordi Fernandez, this new Extrait de Parfum was re-composed for intensity at every layer, with Fernandez iterating subtle tweaks that make this already alluring scent something seriously special.
Top notes of pear were dialled up for a deliriously fruity accent, while jasmine sambac joined the white floral heart notes for a potently sweet, heady warmth. Finally, the gourmand, ambery base notes were joined by vanilla and sandalwood, for an indulgent, creamy finish. In essence, Blue Talisman Extrait is intricate modern perfumery at it’s opulent finest.
Mesmerising, kaleidoscopic and multi-faceted: consider us bewitched.
