One of the four original scents in Liberty’s scented candle line-up, Hera is inspired by its namesake print: a decadent peacock motif. Rather bohemian and aristocratic, it has a velvety heart of rose, woodland moss and golden amber – elevated ingredients that give it a warm, cosy, welcoming feel, no matter which room you light it in.
The Rise to Fame
Liberty’s scented candle collection was borne from a simple idea: what, exactly, would a Liberty print smell like? Each one is inspired by an iconic archival artwork hand-picked from our historic 145-year-old design archive, translating the patterns, motifs and colours into olfactory form. Launching with four scents, our candles quickly gained wide-spread popularity, and Hera, the unofficial hero of the collection, was even celebrated at the prestigious Fragrance Foundation Awards 2022. Soon after came the second collection; a series of four more scents to lift the mood of your entire home.
The Credentials
Everything about the experience of a Liberty Scented Candle feels innately luxurious. From the printed boxes to the reusable glass vessels, the same creamy shade of the pages of an archive book. As for the candle itself, it’s made using natural-blend vegan wax; each one is meticulously hand-poured.
