In Appreciation of: Jones Road's Miracle Balm

May we have your attention, please. A new star is entering our Beauty Hall of Fame and it’s about to transform your skin like nothing before

The Synopsis

A ‘one and done’ product made for makeup minimalists, Jones Road Miracle Balm, £36 is a tub of solid face gloss that can be smudged and 'smushed' (technical word) all over eyes, cheeks, lips and skin, glazing skin in the faintest wash of colour but most epic veil of sheen. Entirely different to any product you’ve used before, application certainly takes a little getting used to. But trust us, once nailed, you’ll wonder how you ever got ready without this very clever glow-giver.

The Rise to Fame

Before the launch, Miracle Balm had a waitlist of 10,000 eager (future) fans, and became a viral sensation on TikTok before it even hit UK shores in 2021. But then again, what do you expect from a product that is the brainchild of makeup icon Bobbi Brown. Yes, the Bobbi Brown. It’s the undisputed hero product from Jones Road, her no-fuss makeup-meets-skincare brand that’s recently made Liberty its new (and exclusive) British home.

The Credentials

Many products claim to be a makeup/skincare hybrid, yet Miracle Balm is the real deal. It’s formulated with plenty of nourishing skin ingredients like jojoba oil, vitamin E and argan oil, which means the hydrated glow it lends skin extends deeper than just a superficial shine. Designed to be used in tandem with your favourite moisturiser, each of the seven shades has a slight shimmer and can be used all over your skin for a subtle tint, or applied to the higher planes of the face – a little bit like a low key bronzer.

The Star Quality

Part blusher, part bronzer, part highlighter, part skin tint, Miracle Balm can only be described as a major kiss of life for your skin. But we’re not the only ones that think so. Its legions of fans have ensured that it’s repeatedly sold out both here and in the US. So, if you want to get your hands on the good stuff, might we suggest you add to basket now?
