What Is Liberty LBTY. Fragrance?
A natural extension of the Liberty realm, Liberty LBTY. Fragrance is our chance to ignite yet another one of your senses: your sense of smell. It’s a seven-scent collection of artistic fragrances, each one the olfactory translation of an archival Liberty print – painstakingly crafted by the world’s most renowned perfumers. Their task? To unpick the rich, layered artwork of a specific print, and reinterpret its mood, moment and memory into scent.

Fragrance allow you to experience the Liberty magic through a whole new medium, the collection celebrates the work of some of the greatest artists of our time – the world’s top perfumers. The very same noses behind some of the iconic scents you already know, love and wear, these experts have managed to conjure up soon-to-be signature scents evocative of some of the most extraordinary scenes – using only the highest quality ingredients.

Tendrils of smoke linger evocatively throughout this intoxicating and unorthodox floral scent. Imagine a wood panelled room, infused with a century and a half of subtle laughter and rich tobacco smoke, dressed up for the evening with abundant Indian tuberose flowers, creating an irresistible tension.
Crafted in a unique collaboration with the Royal Academy Schools, scent and story are encapsulated in a bespoke vessel designed by Royal Academy Schools student Esther Gamsu, winner of a competition for Royal Academy students and graduates to craft a design inspired by the scent. This unique event was held in honour of Liberty’s 150th anniversary, in celebration of the artistic connection and community threaded through its history.
