You know that beloved but hard-earned compliment we all hope to hear, particularly when fresh off the plane after a week on a Greek island: “you look well”. Well, Gucci Westman, makeup artist extraordinaire and founder of Westman Atelier, has taken that compliment and bottled it. Enter Liquid Super Loaded Tinted Highlight, £53.
The Rise to Fame
Converts to the gospel according to Westman will already be mega fans of Super Loaded Tinted Highlight, £69, the creamy illuminator for cheeks and eyes that comes laced with hyaluronic acid and leaves skin glowing. Well, consider this new recruit the liquid version of that. A little more lightweight than the original, the fluid formula melds with the complexion to create a kind of second-skin glow, available in three shades: Peau de Rosé, Peau de Soleil and Peau de Pêche.
The Credentials
Where makeup meets skincare, the ingredients list of this formula is rather impressive, utilising the hydrating benefits of hyaluronic acid, as well as peptides, the key components of healthy skin. Plus, there’s niacinamide in there for skin strength, as well as prickly pear cactus extract. Alongside subtle tinted pigments, it’s no wonder even just a few drops are enough to create incredible radiance.
The Star Quality
The best bit? These drops are so simple to use. Shake the bottle well before tipping a few droplets onto your fingertips either on the highest planes of the face (cheekbones, bridge of nose, Cupid’s bow, etc) or all over. And you can either apply underneath foundation, on top of it, or completely alone. Easy.
