Personalise Your Own Pouch – Palestinian Embroidery with Tatreez Collective
Thursday 7th May | 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Join us in store and be introduced to Palestinian embroidery (Tatreez) by members of The Tatreeze Collective an artisan collective which began in Palestine in January 2025.
You will be guided through stitching your own motif onto a fabric pouch and leave with a personalised, functional piece to continue using.
Enjoy traditional tea , snacks and a glass of English sparkling wine through the evening.

Discover Plaster Carving with The Art of Islamic Pattern
Tuesday 19th May | 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Join us in store for a tactile introduction to three-dimensional ornament through hand-carved plaster. You will learn how to transfer a design onto a prepared plaster block and carve it in relief using traditional tools.
The session explores light, shadow, and depth, referencing carved surface traditions found across architectural history and resonant with Liberty’s decorative language.
All materials and tools are provided, and each participant will complete and take home a carved plaster panel.

Tahriri Cushion Workshop Learn Bethlehem Couching Stitch
Thursday 18th June | 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Join us in store with The Tatreeze Collective for a workshop which focuses on Tahriri, the iconic couching stitch from Bethlehem, traditionally worked with silk or metallic threads.
You will learn this distinctive technique using gold threads on cotton fabric, creating a piece that can later be turned into a framed artwork, pouch, or small cushion.
All materials and tools are provided

Wood Marquetry Inlay with LBTY and The art of Islamic Pattern Collective
Tuesday 2nd June | 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Join us in store for an introduction to the refined craft of wood marquetry, where decorative veneers are cut and assembled into a small ornamental panel.
You will learn the fundamentals of pattern layout, veneer cutting, composition, and assembly, producing a finished inlay artwork inspired by historic ornamental design to sit around an LBTY Candle.
Due to the nature of the process, pieces will be clamped after the session to ensure a secure bond before collection.
Price inclusive of all veneers, tools, adhesives, materials and an LBTY Candle.
