Editor's Notes

The Christelle Tana Lawn™ cotton robe is designed in our London studio, printed at the Liberty Printing Mill with an ornate botanical artwork drawn from the archive.

This long cotton robe is crafted from Tana, a breathable and fluid revelation of a fabric that we’ve been perfecting for over a century, prized for its colour-rich surface and ultra-soft hand-feel. The robe features a shawl collar and waist tie, finished with piping and two patch pockets. It spotlights Christelle – originally featured in early-1990s Liberty collections, Christelle was inspired by the Indian chintz florals that were first brought to Europe during the 17th century.
