HOMME PLISSÉ draws inspiration from the avant-garde influences of its founder Issey Miyake to create these TAILORED PLEATS 1 trousers.

A sculptural twist on an everyday wardrobe staple, the pair is cut from the label’s signature technical-pleated jersey – an innovative technique involving heat-pressing fully constructed garments. They’re fitted with extra front pleats that accentuate the straight-leg silhouette and give an offbeat, contemporary finish.

Issey Miyake’s Homme Plissé brand launched in 2014, offering men the radical pleating techniques for which the designer has been renowned since the ‘80s. Garments are cut and sewn into the final shape before being pleated and treated with heat to hold their shape. Origami-style folding and Japanese-inspired prints ripple subtly through collections of sports-luxe separates and eccentric, cocooning forms.
