Editor's Notes
Inspired by a technique that was once used by Rennaisance painters, this silk scarf from Weston's Strizzatte collection, showcases an original artwork through a microscopic lens. Digitally printed onto satin silk for a high-resolution finish with a lustrous sheen that captures the nuances of the design, which is often such a tiny spread of acrylic paints it is more or less invisible to the human eye.
About Weston
Richard Weston is a much-loved favourite in the Liberty scarf hall. Discovered at the Best of British open call in 2010, Weston scarves have a story as vivid as their designs. As a Professor of Architecture, Weston began scanning stones and minerals, so amazed by the depth of colour and detail that he printed the scans on to silk scarves.
