Strawberry Meadowfield Emberton Linen in Pewter
The Modern Archive Collection spotlights Liberty’s rich history of storytelling for every generation of modern interiors – with the contemporary neutrals of the Pewter colour story reflecting the delicate lace and silk designs of Liberty’s Aesthetic-era origins.
Strawberry Thief was designed by William Morris in 1883, and is part of a group of designs incorporating animals with flowers. Liberty first produced it as a furnishing fabric in 1979. Strawberry Meadowfield is a one-colour version of the original. The design is expertly printed in Italy onto our Emberton linen – a heavyweight, high-performance base with beautiful drape and hand-feel. Soft and natural in appearance, this linen features a small percentage of nylon fibre for structural stability and superior protection against wear and tear, perfectly well-suited for both residential and contract use.
Pricing: All fabrics are priced per metre length

The Modern Archive Collection from Liberty Fabrics Interiors celebrates the brand’s long-standing legacy as the home of design. The collection’s six colour stories pay homage to the passions of the collector and the beautiful objects that have long been curated within Liberty’s wood-panelled walls. Pewter, Lapis, Lichen, Lacquer, Jade and Dragonfly tell the story of the emporium through the ages, uniting a diverse archive of hand-drawn designs. Each one has been reinterpreted and reimagined for the next generation of Liberty furnishing fabrics.
