Made with green and red glass beads set against a 925 sterling silver butterfly fastening, the intricately assembled design is rendered as a flower. About Pura Utz
Pura UTZ was founded in 2018 by Bernabela and Anna, two friends who met through a non-profit organisation and shared the same dream of handmade jewellery. The team started out with six women, working out of Bernabela’s house in Santiago Atitlan, a bustling town in Guatemala. Together they create beautiful, high-quality beaded jewellery and pouches, inspired by the fruits of the land – a project that has helped enable a full-time income for more than fifty women in Guatemala.
