Created in collaboration with M/M (Paris), Byredo's visionary M/Mink eau de parfum is the antithesis of traditional and futuristic fragrance, infusing abstract elements into the European fragrance house's signature sweetened accord.

Reversing the conventional briefing process, Michael and Mathias of M/M (Paris) presented Ben Gorham with a creative direction and concept comprising a block of solid ink purchased in Asia, a photograph of a Japanese master practising his daily calligraphy and a large utopian formula that Mathias drew on traditional paper. Gorham's response was this sweet, aromatic and sophisticated concoction, which blends powerful, aldehydic adoxal with rich incense, amber, cedar wood, clover honey and patchouli leaf.
