This silk and crochet shirt was designed by John Galliano in the '90s - a rare piece selected from Liberty’s designer vintage archive, available exclusively online.

John Galliano cemented his place in fashion history with his otherworldly designs under his own name and, later, at Givenchy, and then Christian Dior. This crochet knit shirt showcases a silk front panel, embroidered with fantastical, multicoloured imagery of a peacock, anemones, tulips and dahlias. Pretty, faceted faux-jet buttons finish the front. Made in England, this elegant shirt is finished with the John Galliano authenticity label – a stand-out piece in any collection.
