Imran is typical of the Oriental style of the first quarter of the 20th century. Western designers produced these patterns, but the themes are based on Indian and Persian miniatures. This scarf design dates back to 1993, however the first Imran design is much older, dating back to 1916 when it was originally used as a dress fabric.
