The Craft Garden collection whisks us back to the early 1900s, celebrating the remarkable artistry of designer, May Morris, daughter of the legendary William Morris. Inspired by her creative charisma and technical prowess, these poetic patterns capture the essence of the Arts & Crafts movement through her meticulously detailed embroideries. The designs, imbued with a sense of symmetry, movement, and flow, reflect the style that played a pivotal role in defining Liberty’s early history and securing its place as one of the design house’s most iconic design pillars.
The collection is traditionally screen printed onto Lasenby cotton, a base specifically developed for quilting and craft projects.

Craft Blooms derives from a 1980s archival Liberty artwork, hand-painted in a typical Arts & Crafts style aesthetic. Subtle tiny background spots give the design an interesting textural quality, while beautiful floating lilies create a sophisticated trailing garden.
Designed specifically for quilting, our soft Lasenby cotton base is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques.
