This pleated polo shirt from HOMME PLISSÉ showcases the radical pleating techniques the late Issey Miyake has been famed for since the eighties. HOMME PLISSÉ uses origami-style folding to create luxurious, sporty separates, as applied to this pleated top featuring an open camp-collar, dropped shoulders and short sleeves.

Issey Miyake’s Homme Plissé brand launched in 2014, offering men the radical pleating techniques for which the designer has been renowned since the ‘80s. Garments are cut and sewn into the final shape before being pleated and treated with heat to hold their shape. Origami-style folding and Japanese-inspired prints ripple subtly through collections of sports-luxe separates and eccentric, cocooning forms.
