For the collection A Palace Garden, the Liberty Fabrics design team drew inspiration from the decadent glamour of Eltham Palace. A show-stopping confection of perfectly-preserved 1930s design nestled away in South East London, Eltham Palace is characterised by its harmonious blend of Art Deco interiors, medieval architecture and detailed Greco-Roman flourishes. A Palace Garden encapsulates its eccentric English namesake’s sense of traditional symbolism and Modernist style – expect prints brimming with vivid colour, rhythm and vibrancy.
Liberty Fabrics’ Camo Flower is lustrously detailed and rich in colour – printed here on our inimitable Tana Lawn™ cotton.
Our Camo Flower print is derived from the unfinished, intricately daubed edges of a painting of iris flowers dating from 1989, which was discovered in the Liberty archives. It is formed by abstracted floral flourishes, creating a contemporary camo-style design. Tana Lawn™ cotton has a unique print quality and colour absorption that is second to none, with a distinctive hand-feel and translucent softness that ensures it remains a versatile favourite. Use it to create sleek separates, fluid evening dresses or tailored daily pieces – the possibilities are as wild as your imagination. Tana Lawn is machine washable and durable enough for daily wear.
