Inspired by Moroccan myths, legends and ancestral tales passed down through generations, Marrakech-based design studio Moro is driven to transform history into art. Founded by friends Mohcyn Bousfiha and Mouad Mohsine, the lifestyle brand encompasses a boutique hotel, restaurant and curated store just a few steps from the Jardin Majorelle – an iconic cultural space constructed by French artist Jacques Majorelle in 1924 and feted for its famous, intensely blue walls, spectacular fountains and tranquil open spaces. Moro’s selection of bronze candleholders, trays and incense holders are meticulously handcrafted in Marrakech by skilled local artisans, each one an ode to sacred symbols and ancient symbols and carefully designed to infuse your living space with notes of Morocco’s rich spiritual heritage.
