Barbour is a legend of British fashion. Family owned for five generations and still based in South Shields (where it was founded in 1894) the company produces a wide range of high quality - and distinctly British – clothing. But the waxed cotton jacket – still made by hand in the brand’s Simonside factory – is its icon. Beloved of farmers, hikers and trendy city-dwellers, the jacket is, by now, part of the country’s heritage. Cementing its reputation, Barbour is the holder of three Royal Warrants.
