Kojis
9ct Gold Arts and Crafts Opal and Pearl Leaf Brooch
Editor's Notes
Dating back to the early 1900s, this gold Arts and Crafts brooch from antique purveyor Kojis is set with a single iridescent opal and a pair of lustrous pearls.
Crafted from solid 9 carat gold, this brooch has a whiplash wirework design with an oval cut opal cabochon at the centre and two sculptural leaf motifs at either side. A petite seed pearl sits at the top, while a caged baroque pearl drop charm dangles freely from the base. Signed by pioneering Arts and Crafts company Murrle Bennett & Co., wear it alone to shine a spotlight on the one-of-a-kind design, or team it with several other artfully designed brooches and pins for a maximalist take on traditional formalwear.
