Each piece from Acanthus carries a sense of history, influenced by medieval and ancient objects that have been reimagined into timeless jewels. This necklace features a heart-shaped pendant with a reversable design – one side is cast in oxidised silver with a 24ct gold crescent moon and opal, whilst the other side is cast in 24ct gold with an oxidised silver crescent moon and opal accent. About Acanthus
Acanthus is a jewellery line from Nichole McIver, a former art historian who creates each piece in her studio in Minnesota. The brand's name refers to a scrolling foliage motif whose reappearance throughout different eras of history symbolises a sense of timelessness, according to McIver - a trait she endeavours to recreate within her work. The designer is drawn to the medieval and the ancient, particularly pre-16th century objects that she reimagines and transforms into intricate jewellery.
