Editor's Notes

The Floating pearl hoop earrings by eco-friendly jewellery designer Melissa Joy Manning are handmade from 14ct recycled gold. Each earring features a large and slim hoop adorned with three floating pearls at the centre – layer them with smaller hoops or studs for a trend-led finish.

Melissa Joy Manning has a wealth of training in the field of design, including studying art history, traditional silversmithing, jewellery design and sculpture, before launching her first line of designer jewellery in 1997. The brand has grown since, with the introduction of a bridal range and the opening of two flagship stores in Berkeley, CA and Soho, NY.
