Editor's Notes

A jewellery box built for a proper collection, from the Shrimps x Daisy collaboration. It brings together Shrimps’ knack for playful, painterly pattern and Daisy London’s eye for the quietly practical.

The checkerboard comes straight from the Shrimps archive, rendered here in a multi-colour grid around a bright pink centre. Lift the lid and the cotton twill gives way to soft faux suede, accommodating ring rolls, ten compartments and a pierced top for stud earrings so every piece has somewhere to go and nothing arrives in a knot. A zip runs the full way around the top, ready for the dressing table or the weekend bag.

Daisy London began in 2009, when co-founder Ruth Bewsey set out to design the pieces missing from her own jewellery box. Created in London, the brand chooses timeless over trend, making jewellery to be worn every day until it quietly becomes part of your story. Meaning runs through every collection, from the Chakra bracelets that first made its name to its signature daisies and gemstones chosen for what they symbolise. Collaborations have brought new voices into that story, from Estée Lalonde’s sunburst signets and T-bar necklaces to the playful pearls, lucky charms and jewellery cases from Shrimps.
