About Missoni
The Missoni fashion house was founded in 1953 in the Varese province of Italy. Born from Ottavio Missoni’s talents as an activewear designer and his wife Rosita’s family shawl-making business, Missoni quickly became famed for its innovative multi-coloured knitwear. The 1970s were the brand’s golden years, as its distinct zigzag graphic surmised the period’s modernist aesthetic. Today, under the creative direction of Ottavio and Rosita’s daughter Angela, Missoni continues to produce timeless prints and bohemia-infused knits.
