Designed in-house, the Madison mini skirt from Liberty offers a fresh take on free-spirited ‘60s style, featuring our Ophelia print.

Liberty’s Autumn 2020 womenswear collection embraces a witty and art-inflected maximalism inspired by the ornate gothic and Art Nouveau revival styles of Bernard Nevill, Liberty’s Design Director of the 1960s and ‘70s. The mini skirt features Ophelia, a fresh studio design inspired by the beauty of unfinished hand-painted scarf artworks from the Liberty archive. The all-over design is printed onto thick stretch cotton, finished with black contrasting tape detailing for graphic impact.
