It was 1986 when Julie Gaines and David Lenovitz got lost in Upstate New York and wandered into a small town named Fishs Eddy. The pair discovered a stockpile of restaurant dishware and bought it, taking it back to Manhattan and opening their first store. It has since built a global reputation for its collections of archive and antique dinnerware.
