Drawing inspiration from Liberty’s iconic 1887 design, Hera, Plume Hearts combines stylised Art Nouveau motifs with the enduring beauty of peacock feathers. Hand-painted in the Liberty studio, the pattern’s undulating movement forms a structured ogee arrangement, as trailing leafy stems unfurl into delicate heart shapes.
The design is printed by experts in Italy onto our elegant 12 momme Codrington silk lurex – a fabric prized for its lustrous drape and fluidity, along with its luminously high-shine surface. Construct it into eveningwear pieces such as sheath gowns or use it to create opulently wearable daytime designs like wrap dresses and flowing shirting.
