Floral Rebellion by Liberty Fabrics for Spring Summer 2026 is an audacious celebration of individuality, self-expression, and cultural identities. Drawing inspiration from some of history’s most iconic movements and their pioneering leaders, this collection weaves together a curated selection of diverse influences. From the rebellious temper of punk to the exuberant flair of divas, from the glitz of disco to the rhythm of contemporary creatives, Floral Rebellion unapologetically places Liberty fabrics at the centre of attention.
Embracing freedom from traditional constraints during the 1910s and 1920s, young women known as flappers bobbed their hair and wore short dresses adorned with sequins, beads, and tassels. Hand-painted in gouache, this star-studded pattern features sequined flower heads scattered across dark-coloured grounds, evoking the luxurious allure of glamorous flapper dresses.
The design is printed by experts in Italy onto our elegant, reflective 16 momme Belgravia silk satin – a fabric prized for its lustrous drape and fluidity, along with its luminously high-shine surface. Construct it into eveningwear pieces such as sheath gowns, or use it to create opulently wearable daytime designs like wrap dresses and flowing shirting.
