Taking cues from 70s glam rock and the rebellion of punk, each earring is composed of interlocking ring links in silver-tone brass, skilfully balancing refined with a hard-ware-inspired edge. Here, masculine and feminine collide rather than compromise - designed for whoever layers pearls with piercings, who doesn’t choose between soft and sharp. About Justine Clenquet
Justine Clenquet started her label at eighteen, still a student in Paris, chasing jewellery she couldn’t find anywhere else. Punk hardware sits against soft gold. Chains that could belong on a motorcycle jacket meet the kind of delicate detailing usually reserved for heirlooms. Nothing in her collection picks a side between masculine and feminine, rough and refined; it holds both at once. Every piece is designed and handmade in France, brass finished in 24K gold, palladium and crystal, built to be worn in more ways than one. The pieces have found their way onto Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, Rosalía and Charli XCX without ever losing the underground instinct they started with.
