A celebration of the extensive Liberty archive, the Ashford Collection offers a contemporary take on a curated selection of our most cherished and historical botanical artworks. Featuring dense florals and foliage, trailing branches and stems, and a plethora of hand-painted flowers and watercolour blooms that balance a graphic, stylised edge with Liberty’s signature hand-crafted aesthetic, each design is meticulously printed on our crisp Shantung Silk – a textured, slightly slubbed cloth with a luminous finish that lends itself to structured evening and occasionwear and sophisticated, modern tailoring.

Editor's Notes

Inspired by an archive print from the mid 1970’s, this exquisite paisley pays homage to Liberty’s association with India and the East. The detailed and traditional oriental botanical motifs are arranged in a dense and multi-layered trail layout.

Liberty Fabrics’ Shantung Silk is a crisp fabric with a textured, slubbed surface that gives an understated yet lustrous hand feel and luminous finish – making it the perfect pick for sophisticated eveningwear and modern tailoring.
