Editor's Notes
Add colour to your next craft project with a half-metre piece of pre-cut cotton for quilting – mix and match for an eclectic effect, or buy several of the same style to suit larger projects. Inspired by a gouache painting from the Liberty archive, this small botanical is reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts decorative plasterwork at Winterbourne House. Using a mirrored composition, it features stylised flowers and elegant curved lines, forming a flowing ogee trail. It is printed on our Lasenby base – designed specifically for quilting, this soft cotton is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques. Please note: This fabric is pre-cut. Each piece measures approximately 108cm by 50cm.
