Shop the EditTo celebrate The Hooligan's Shampoo collection created by Shona Heath and Liberty Fabrics, Interiors pieces have been curated by Heath herself into a three-dimensional world of dreams hidden away within Liberty’s very own Heritage Suite. The installation captures the collection’s sense of charm and whimsy, bringing a piece of the story to life within the Liberty store.
Inspired by the treasures of the local corner shop and named after Philip Ridley’s 1996 children’s book, The Hooligan’s Shampoo collection was born from the vivid imagination of cult fashion-world set designer Shona Heath. Heath created miniature sculptures in her studio using everyday objects such as pins, rubber bands and washing-up sponges, photographed and then transfigured into hand-painted prints by our Liberty Fabrics designers.
The Liberty Fabrics collection is bolstered by a one-of-a-kind Interiors range that includes frilled printed bedding, linen and velvet cushions and printed tote shopper bags, as well as a fringe-trimmed armchair and luxurious velvet bed in the Banana Slip print – a peek into the realm of the fantastic, offering a sprinkling of magic and wonder for grown-up interiors.
