Following Sir Arthur Liberty’s passion for discovery, the collection references his remarkable expeditions to Japan, China, Persia and India during the 1880s-1910s. From trailing Chinoiserie motifs, through to miniature Persian Garden illustrations, Indian Moghul painting and art from the Japanese Edo period, this intrinsically Liberty collection reinterprets traditional techniques with modern accents.
