Editor's Notes

Inspired by a hand-painted artwork discovered in the Liberty archive, this opulent botanical showcases an abundance of magnificently displayed blooms. The unfurling petals of peonies, chrysanthemums and lilies gracefully cascade amidst a tapestry of lush foliage, meticulously weaving together a multisensory visual feast.

The design is printed by experts in Italy onto our elegant 12 momme Codrington silk lurex – a fabric prized for its lustrous drape and fluidity, along with its luminously high-shine surface. Construct it into eveningwear pieces such as sheath gowns or use it to create opulently wearable daytime designs like wrap dresses and flowing shirting.
