Lemaire is the freewheeling brainchild of Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran. The brand has been growing quietly since its launch in 1991, designing understatedly elegant clothes which flit between Parisian references from past and present. Lemaire’s mission statement is ‘finding the poetry in reality’, an ethos embodied in the restrained sensuality of its collections. This is Parisian sexiness – hinted at and never obvious.
