Drawing on Liberty’s love of storytelling, the Bayeux Tapestry Silk Scarf brings a landmark chapter of history to life, marking its moment on display at The British Museum.

Woven in Italy from pure silk, the design reimagines the tapestry’s centuries-old story through a Liberty lens, with hand-drawn, expressive linework tracing rolling waves, ornate ships, warriors, armour and medieval architecture. Nods to Halley’s Comet, mythical creatures and heraldic flourishes echo the original’s layered scenes, while horses rendered in contrasting tones give the composition depth, and striped sails add graphic energy. Style it as a traditional neck scarf to lock in warmth, drape it over your shoulders as a cover up shawl or pair it with our Buckle Scarf Ring for a refined touch.
