Astier de Villatte’s Atelier de Balthus scented candle captures the powdery, woody, resinous air of the painter's studio.

Time is suspended in this wood-panelled workshop; rays of sun beaming in through a picturesque bay window, illuminating the brushes, palettes, tubes, paint pots, sketched canvases and linseed oil-drenched rags strewn all over. The air is fragrant with turpentine intermingled with pleasant wisps of smoke, honey, tobacco and woods. Light this candle to spark inspiration at the most unexpected moments.
