Clustered sprigs of daisies, poppies, and roses appear to exist in blissful harmony, sweetly swaying to the sound of birdsong and the gentle hum of bees. Enhanced with fluttering butterflies gracefully weaving in and out amongst silhouettes of wild flowerheads, Meadow Flowers is a tranquil journey through the British countryside.

The earliest iteration of Adelaide’s Song’s delightful pattern appears in one of Liberty’s silk pattern books from 1921. Inspired by the whimsy of a birdsong-filled garden, the Liberty studio has revived the archival design with softly hued, loosely outlined flowers, fruits, and cleverly camouflaged birds perched among the blossoming branches.
Designed specifically for quilting, our soft Lasenby cotton base is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques.
