An homage to what the brand calls “New York’s most opinionated bird,” the tea towel is made from hardy cotton yarns and features hand-drawn pigeons in a variety of poses – a playful design created in collaboration with portrait artist Ben Lenovitz. It was 1986 when Julie Gaines and David Lenovitz got lost in Upstate New York and wandered into a small town named Fishs Eddy. The pair discovered a stockpile of restaurant dishware and bought it, taking it back to Manhattan and opening their first store.
