  • Base Notes: Diesel Smoke, Earth-Dirt, Galbanum Resin
  • Approx. 60 hours' burn time
HOW TO USE

Trim the wick each time before lighting for a longer, cleaner burn. On the first time of lighting, allow the candle to burn for two to three hours until the wax has pooled right to the edge. This will allow for an even burn in future.

Editor's Notes

D.S. & Durga's '85 Diesel scented candle features a full-bodied, animalic blend of leathery, smoky and synthetic notes alongside dry, earthy vegetation.

On a nomadic desert road trip, a car fitted with saffron-tanned leather seats and lacquered chestnut panelling releases puffs of burning fuel, while the euphoric voices of passengers in rug-like clothing form familiar lyrics: "... We must never break the chain". Burn this evocative candle in summer or winter for a momentary escape to a faraway place.
