Inspired by childhood memories of drawing cards with his artist grandmother, The Tarot of Marseille card deck from Marin Montagut is a colourful and joyful ode to this magic, set to transport you to a world of divinity.

The brand’s eponymous founder applies his charming finesse to this divinatory game, taking over two years to imagine, draw and paint in watercolor each tarot card, which take cues from 19th century engravings. Bringing to life the joyful and fanciful universe, the cards are made in large format, laminated and manufactured by a printer in Normandy before being gilded on the edges by one of the last companies that use this time-honoured technique in France, and finally hot-gilded lettering is applied to bring an unparalelled finish each card. Packed into an elegant box that recalls the iconic secret books of Marin Montagut, the game comes with an explainatory booklet, making it perfect for both experts and novices alike.
