The Liberty Fabrics Classic collection was introduced in 1979 to champion the most iconic and enduring designs from the Liberty archive. Offering a careful curation of heritage patterns, our Classic collection is available all year round. For 2026, the edit welcomes 15 new artworks, including two brand new, hand-drawn designs inspired by the distinctive aesthetic of the 1930s, alongside a selection of bestselling seasonal and archival classics reimagined in contemporary colourways. Together, these additions offer a fresh perspective to the collection while celebrating Liberty's designs and creative traditions.
First printed in 1965, Rosalind Day has featured in the Liberty classics collection for over three decades. Reintroduced in new colourways, this sophisticated floral is defined by a distinct composition, with a neat scattering of poppies, roses, cornflowers and daisies nestled amongst stylised foliage. Rendered in tonal palettes and set in a multidirectional layout, the design offers timeless versatility.
Our Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our own Liberty Printing Mill in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it is perfect for both simple separates and spectacular statement pieces.
