Created as part of Liberty’s Marrakech Edit, the Pattern Garden collection for Spring Summer 2026 showcases eight captivating designs inspired by the eclectic patterns and textures of Morocco. A celebration of the archives and an ode to Morocco’s textiles, marketplaces and architecture – as well as its beautiful gardens – the designs are decorated with bright, vibrant colours and flowers and printed on our inimitable Tana Lawn™ cotton, with a refined, scaled-down selection also available on our lustrous Silk Lurex fabric.
A reissued ethnic geometric design, it was originally created especially for YSL in 1968, when Bernard Nevill was creative director of the Liberty design studio. Originally twice as large in scale, this new version is smaller and has been engineered so that you see more of the repeat on a made-up garment.
The design is printed by experts in Italy onto our elegant 12 momme Codrington silk lurex – a fabric prized for its lustrous drape and fluidity, along with its luminously high-shine surface. Construct it into eveningwear pieces such as sheath gowns or use it to create opulently wearable daytime designs like wrap dresses and flowing shirting.
