A celebration of craft and cultural heritage, Indian brand Kartik Research works closely with local artisans to create the Mirror Shorts.

Meticulously crafted by hand, these shorts are constructed from kantha quilted cotton presenting a naturally overdyed black colourway. Adorned all-over with intricate hand-embroidered mirror appliqués, this pair is secured with an elasticated drawstring waistband to ensure the perfect fit.

Founded in 2021 by Kartik Kumra, Indian brand Kartik Research creates clothing inspired by India’s rich heritage of craft and culture. A celebration of heritage and time-honoured techniques, the brand is committed to preserving centuries-old craftsmanship. Working closely with Indian artisans, each garment is handmade and features intricate handicraft ranging from kantha quilted shorts, to Kasuti-embroidered suits. Weaving the past with the present, each stitch and seam defines craftsmanship in a contemporary way.
